- Finding a great shirt is something many of us strive to achieve throughout our lives, and it’s not always easy! On my Shirt Making Weekend, you’ll learn to sew your perfect shirt, all while demystifying the shirt making process.
- From fitted to oversized, shirts are the garment I reach for the most, so they will always have a special place in my handmade wardrobe. And thankfully, I love sewing them – they are full of interesting technical challenges that once you get right are hard not to keep sewing again and again!
- While discussing, demonstrating and practicing the interesting technical details that go into making a shirt, you’ll be learning sewing skills which will translate across many different garments — not to mention many more shirts!
- This sewing class is aimed at the dressmaker looking to expand and advance their dressmaking skills – you must already have experience in making clothing and be proficient in the use of a sewing machine.
Payment plans are available on all sewing classes!

Spaces are limited to 6 students per class to provide the ultimate learning experience, this also ensures there will be plenty of time for personal fitting, advice and support.

Lunch is not included, please bring a packed lunch with you on both days.
Sourcing your own material and notions such as buttons is part of the learning and the fun. You’ll receive all the information you need ahead of the weekend.
You will also need to purchase and print your chosen pattern before the class.
